...My Boobs
This is the view of me looking down at my scar! Don't mind the staples, the wires, the nakedness or the drains. That is all par for the course.

This blog discusses cystic fibrosis, organ donation and life as I know it. My name is Stephanie. I have cystic fibrosis and received a double lung transplant on March 17, 2010. I would not be where I am today without the support of my husband, my family, my friends and last but not least my donor and his/her family.

It's a beautiful scar, Steph!!! And there are the most amazing, beautiful lungs underneath that scar!!! I have to imagine things are pretty interesting now -- just wait until you get to take them out for a run!!!
I remember my first few months -- mostly awe, with scattered fear here and there -- but way more awe then fear... I can't wait until they're working at 100%!!!
Love, Steve

Stephanie - I am a college friend of Elise Bennett's and she has been telling me about you and what you have been going through. I am so happy to hear about your transplant. I have you on my prayer list and am hoping that you are healing up well and will be getting to go home from the hospital soon!! Sending lots of thoughts and prayers your way!!
